Spanning an impressive 2.28 million hectares, you could spend days exploring Tsavo National Park, and barely scratch the surface. Hike through the otherwordly Chyulu Cloud Forest, marvel at Shetani Lava Flow or for those craving adventure, summit the Ol Doinyo Ololarami volcano and take in the spectacular views of this extraordinary landscape, set against the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

To better understand the way of life in the Tsavo, visit the nearby village of Illtilal and gain an insight in the daily life of the Maasai, from tending to their animals to building ‘Manyattas’, their traditional homes. Master the art of spear-throwing or engage in survival training sessions to learn all about essential wilderness skills – a great way to embrace the adventurous spirit of the Maasai and immerse yourself in their storied traditions.

There is so much more to Tsavo National Park than ‘Big Five’.
